Friendship Christian Church is a small, relaxed church that meets in the open farm country north of Centralia, Missouri. There has been a church at this location for over 130 years, but the fellowship was "revived" in 1994. Since then we have built a new fellowship hall/classroom building. We finished our current chapel in 2004. To handle all the kids, we converted our fellowship hall into classroom space. With our average attendance now 225 (or so), we are making plans for expansion of either our worship services (from one to two) or our facilities...or both.

Friendship Place is our outreach and fellowship facility located in town. This provides a large, convenient space for youth groups, Bible studies and fellowship events. While "church" will always be held in our chapel in the peaceful countryside, FP is a welcomed and needed addition to our facilities.

We have 4 dynamic youth ministries lead by youth pastors and a great team of volunteers. "21:17" is a Saturday night event for high school students and "Youth78" for 7th & 8th graders held every Wednesday. "Youth56" of course, is for 5th & 6th graders...and also meets every Wednesday. "Youth4God" is the 4th graders who also meet weekly during the school year, normally on Tuesday evenings.

But the real growing at Friendship cannot be measured by buildings or attendance. God is patiently working to change us and draw us into a closer walk with Him through His truth revealed to us in His Son and the Bible. If you are looking for a "no pressure---no hype" church, join us for the journey.

Our services begin at 8AM and 10AM each week. The early services is more traditional and a little short in time...out by 9AM. The 10AM service includes contemporary Christian music with a full band. Childcare for pre-schoolers is also available at the later service. We worship with a mix of tradition and contemporary music. IF the preacher doesn't talk too long...we're finished about 10:45 or so! Kids are more than welcome to stay in the service...but age appropriate "Bibletime" is available for them. Toddlers and babies can stay in the new Kiddie Klass with real-time audio and one-way glass that allows nursing moms, parents or kids privacy but also a view of the worship service.
